This is an upgrade drop-in replacement concave aluminum dome tweeter, built on a 4" by 4.75" faceplate. The screw holes line up, and the input terminals match the original wiring.
It fits the following models:
Crimson, Green, White, Light Blue, Blue, Red
Burhoe Acoustics called the original parts the "T1.1" and the "T1.5" in brochures and other publications. There were two size domes - slightly over 1" and closer to 1.5". This tweeter works perfectly as an upgrade for either one. It came in two styles - one with a Masonite faceplate, and one with a machined metal faceplate, but they are both the same size and have the same mounting screw locations.
It is not necessary to return the old part when purchasing this part.
It would be a good idea to make sure your tweeter measures 4" x 4.75" before ordering - I think they are all this size.
