This a new (introduced in 2002) version of my aluminum concave dome tweeter. It is smaller and hence easier to install than the larger, square one I have made for years. The round shape has a more modern appearance and makes for a smaller, more efficient mounting area. And they sound great!
This version of my tweeter has been standard in the model 81 since its introduction through late 2010, and was used in quite a few automotive products and kits.
If you need to buy this part, you can trade the old one in, before or after getting the new one. This saves you a little money, and I can then recycle the chassis.
